Black & White Processing (Part II)

In my last post, I think I gave enough of a technical description about achieving the desired effect in post-processing a black and white image. This post is more about an abstract description about achieving that same effect. Seeing this video should give one an understanding about how there is a certain amount of artistic freedom in post-processing.
